The Venue
Index.

49 venues · one worksheet

We looked at forty-nine Hudson Valley wedding venues and focus on the things couples usually have to dig for, like where guests sleep, how a venue handles rain, and how much the quoted fee includes. Answer three questions and the index reorders itself around your answers. No email required, ever.

№ 01

Circle what matters.

What are you most excited to explore? Choose up to three. Couples consistently find two or three priorities clarify everything else. 0 of 3 circled

a. The land is the décor

The surroundings carry most of the visual weight, so there is little you need to decorate yourself.

b. The full weekend

A single location holds the whole weekend.

c. Everyone stays

There are enough rooms on site for guests to stay over.

d. Kitchen

An in-house chef runs menus that guests tend to still be talking about months afterward.

e. Only yours

The property is yours alone for the day, with no other wedding sharing the grounds.

f. Already handled

Because the tent, furniture, and lighting are built into the fee, there are far fewer vendors to coordinate.

g. Dry, either way

Even when the weather turns, a permanent structure keeps everyone comfortable and the day on track.

h. A proper suite

There is a proper space to get ready in on the grounds themselves.

i. One number

Most of what you need is bundled into a single fee, which keeps the planning simpler.

j. Grown on the farm

The flowers are raised in the farm's own fields and cut fresh the week of the wedding.

k. Open vendor policy

You can hire whichever caterers and suppliers you prefer, with none imposed by the venue.

l. Fully accessible

Both the ceremony and the reception can be reached without any stairs.

№ 02

The venue fee question.

Everything here is the site fee on its own, before catering, florals, and photography are added as separate costs.

Ceiling for the site fee no ceiling
A note on math

Hudson Valley weddings usually come to somewhere between $45K and $120K once everything is added up. For venues that require their own catering, the index shows two figures: the site fee and an estimated total for 120 guests. Read them together, because a low $10K site fee can be misleading when it sits on top of a $45K food-and-beverage minimum.

№ 03

The specifics.

Let us know what your Guest count is and it will help us narrow the field. Leave blank if flexible.

Saturday guest count undecided
Non-negotiables none yet

Anything marked here becomes a hard filter and any venues without it drop out of the index completely.

The ranking runs against the worksheet you just filled in. Flora Moon Farm sits first as the house entry, with its own limitations written out below. Every venue is held to that same measure.
